The Dues Ex Machina is the primary research facility for the creation of any machines in Everfrost. The latest robotic and C.O.R.E. tech is created and tested here. The sky train comes by every hour or so for drop off, once you take your first step off the train two very large 50. mini-gun auto-defense turrets catch your eyes they point out towards Everfrost. Each turret is situated on top of a pedestal with control panels at the ground level of each one. a 20ft wide chrome metal skid leads to the entrance to the building. the doors are made of fog glass and slide to either side when you approach allowing access.
once inside you find yourself in a rather large oval shaped lobby with a door to the east and west and a receptionist at the table situated at the back of the room. For your own comfort there are complimentary snacks and beverages while you wait for your appointment. To both the east and west of you are a number of seemingly comfy chairs surrounding a table with a little box that will notify you when someone is ready to see you. The furnishing is jet black while most of the room itself is snow white. The lights in the room give off a hint of darker color to make it seem as though the color of the room is changing.
The west door leads into a short hallway, a Podium-like object shoots from the ground, it's an information terminal it contains map information for the entire west wing of this facility. As you walk down the hall the sound of heavy machinery grows in volume. As you reach the end of the hall it opens up to a large bay area, as you step out onto the scaffold you can look down into the pit and see a mix of almost 8000 male and female machinists, researchers, and military pilots testing and processing information on tech to the likes you've never seen. The bay is subjugated into three levels, from the bottem up it's goes "The pit", "Purgatory", "Clarity". There are elevators located in multiple locations all around the bay as well as emergency ladders in case of power failure. The closer you get to the top the closer something is to release, with the exception of the crews on every level working on Project Goliath .
This project is a structure of Colossal proportions in this bay, a C.O.R.E. nearly ten times larger then any in circulation. The ultimate goal of this facility is manufacturing a power source small and stable enough to power this machine.
